The transport of a casting gutter with an over-sized width (size 8,0 m x 3,4 m x 1,8 m) from IAG Magnum GmbH from Osnabrück to the steel plant of the company Georgsmarienhütte GmbH – this was the request for our employee Heiner Ernst.
The casting gutter with a weight of approximately 15 t was moved by means of a crane from the fabrication site from the hall to the loading place and lifted there on the 8-axle vehicle combination from KVN.
In spite of the precision work, the experienced colleagues set the casting gutter on the truck’s loading surface after approximately half an hour and lashed and secured it appropriately.
Being additionally assured by an accompanying vehicle, the special transport was made then through Osnabrück to the destination point Georgsmarienhütte.
